The Clippings series (1968-2008) contains newspaper articles and advertisements relating to branch, regional, and national activities of the NAACP. The Committee records series (1977-2005) consists of material generated by and created for committees within the branch. These include Community Affairs, Economic Development, Education, Financial, Freedom Fund, Health, Legal, Membership, Political Action, and Youth. The Freedom Fund Committee deals with the planning of the annual Freedom Fund Awards Banquet hosted by the branch. Located in the loose material for the 1997 Freedom Fund program is a page autographed by Myrlie Evers-Williams, widow of Medgar Evers.

Correspondence (1983-2004) includes invitations, faxes, and memorandums. Letters are from the Branch President’s Office. Minutes (1984-2002) consist of minutes for Executive Board meetings and General membership meetings. The Photographs series contains the contents of a scrapbook, including loose materials. Also included are reproductions of the scrapbook pages and original order of the loose material. The Publications series (1947-2001) consists of entire issues of newspapers and magazines. Of interest to the researcher are the newspapers Cobb Community News (1975), Cobb Focus (1983), and Cobb News (1975), which were published for and by the African American community in Cobb County.
